USA Boxing is the national governing body for Olympic-style amateur boxing. It is overseen by the United States Olympic Committee and the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA), who sets its rules.

All participants in U.S.A. Approved boxing/fighter classes also have to register through U.S.A. Boxing to be eligible to compete in sanctioned amateur boxing matches and tournaments.  This cost is $5000 per year.
